Even though entering their maiden continental campaign, Crystal Palace are learning very quickly. A further victory in their upcoming fixture against Finnish KuPS should be sufficient to secure direct passage to the last 16, particularly after a previous setback against Strasbourg.

Following the break, coach Oliver Glasner took the chance to rest several individuals like Kamada and Wharton. Replacement Romain Esse came close to scoring with his first touch, only to see his shot blocked.
